What tools, besides the one you presented on, would you use in your classroom and why?  The tools that I wanted to use in my classroom are YouTube and Canva . The reason I chose YouTube is that I am teaching seniors, and it is about poultry(chicken). There are lots of lessons on YouTube that are about chicken, like the breeds, housing, feeding and etc. These lessons can be used as an example for the students to really look at and understand what we are talking about. Using videos is one of the teaching methods that I believe is really good for student learning. For Canva, I like to use it because it can create lots of things for teaching, but I need more practice to use it. I know that I can use Canva in making movies or creating a presentation, but the only problem is that we lack the technology, like Wi-Fi, computers, and laptops, for the students, but if we have the means, I will teach my students about Canva, and we will use it. Would you use it in your classroom and why...

Discuss in-depth the issues in the use of Educational Technology as outlined in the readings, AND  also in your own experiences. I know that everyone likes to use technology in their classroom, but the problem is that they do not have experience, technology is not available, and there is not enough funding for technology; these things limit people from using technology. I like the one that says that administrators do not see the use of technology because this is what is happening in our school, they always consider other things when we need something, they always say there is no budget for the thing that we need, like printer they always said next budget we will get but until know none. For they do not have experience, I have a go worker who really likes to use technology, but did not know how to use it, so they did not use it, but when I showed them how, they started using it. Also, like me, I do not like to use AI, but when I found out the easy and interesting things abou...

Discuss your ideas on how to Improve Learning in your community based on the readings.      I can improve learning in my community based on the reading by focusing on students' learning needs and wants. Learning in our community is learning about our culture and religious beliefs. This is what students are learning in our community based on cultural beliefs on what works and what is the right or correct thing to do, so students can learn their culture by observing or imitating the older people. I think that using technology can also improve learning in our community. According to the reading, what improves learning is the way the lesson is delivered and whether the learners understand the language. That is why learning in the community is easier because the language used is the main language of the people. Nowadays, it is hard for us to teach our younger generation because they do not go and observe what is being done, they stay far away and focus on their Phones. ...

Explain how teaching with digital technologies could change education.       For me, teaching with digital technology can change education because most students learn by seeing the actual thing with their eyes. This will be better because I know that most students learn things through observation, like my students, who learn by observing me doing the actual work, like fertilizing the plants. most of them did the work perfectly, but those who did not pay attention did not do well. Most students are really good with technology, and they enjoy looking at things people post when doing something. I know this because the way I know our culture is by observing what people can and cannot do, and also asking my uncles or aunts, but I learn most of it by watching them do the work. How do you see it changing your classrooms for the better?  I know that if I use digital technology in my classroom, it will make learning faster and more interesting. I know that students of to...

How do you define one’s Digital Footprint in your own words?  From my own point of view, digital footprints are when you use the Internet, you leave a mark that people can track or find out what kind of person you are in terms of the work you do. A person needs to understand that whatever they do on the net will stay forever. You must be careful in what you do because it will reflect on you. This is very important because it can ruin your name or make you popular. Either way, the digital footprint can be good or bad depending on what is posted or what you do on the internet. Is this an important topic to teach your students? Why or why not?  I think this is an important topic to be discussed because students nowadays are posting things that are either good or bad, and they don't think about the consequences of their actions. For example, students from PICS High School used to video-fighting between students and post it on the net, thinking that they were doing it for f...

List your 3 biggest takeaways from the readings.        First , learning styles if we study the learning styles, it will make learning fun and engaging. I found out that different people learn differently according to the movie visual, Auditory, reading, and writing, and Kinesthetic (VARK) it can help people find out what type of learners they are, and then we can work from that. I also found out that students have a dominant modality, but some prefer other modalities when they learn. This is an important lesson for us teachers, so we can try to understand our students and try to meet their needs.      The second takeaway is using the three phases of the learning process, which are before training, where you activate prior knowledge, or something similar to the first phase. The first phase has to do with reminding the person of the skill they learned before. For example, if you are teaching them how to plant seeds, you will try to remind...
