  •  Discuss your ideas on how to Improve Learning in your community based on the readings.

I can improve learning in my community based on the reading by focusing on students' learning needs and wants. Learning in our community is learning about our culture and religious beliefs. This is what students are learning in our community based on cultural beliefs on what works and what is the right or correct thing to do, so students can learn their culture by observing or imitating the older people. I think that using technology can also improve learning in our community. According to the reading, what improves learning is the way the lesson is delivered and whether the learners understand the language. That is why learning in the community is easier because the language used is the main language of the people. Nowadays, it is hard for us to teach our younger generation because they do not go and observe what is being done, they stay far away and focus on their Phones. But to improve learning, they have to join the older people in doing the work, so the older people can teach them how to do certain things.

Another way for me to improve learning in my community is to work with the elders and young people because learning in the community doesn't need competency skills like solving math problems or reading. The only thing needed is to participate in the activity or feast. They need to be there watching and learning from the older people who teach them our cultural ways, like pounding Sakau, cutting pigs, filling the basket, and other related things. We also need to tutor our children when they go home. we need to make a tutoring program that will help the students with their work at school.

Select and describe two of the collaboration tools presented in class: The two collaborative tools that I like are Google Forms and Google Sheets. Google Forms can help me create classwork, tests, and quizzes for my students because our textbooks do not include teacher guides or student workbooks. I can create a simple and easy-to-use tool for my class or students. For Google Sheets, I can create worksheets to use for my Master's Grade Sheet (MGS ) when it comes to grading at the end of the quarter, and I can also help my colleagues with the Google sheet for their grades. Share 2 benefits of using the tool in your current role or job: One benefit of using these two tools it will make my work easier and faster. This will also help people who will teach my subject to have a smooth teaching because all the resources will be provided and ready to use. Another benefit that I see is that it will make learning for the students easier and smoother, and will make creating lesson plans...

Here are the two videos https://youtu.be/MBYlRmUurJ8 I learned how to make students come to school by following the CRSSP (Choice, Relevance, Strength, Specific, and Passion). If you follow the CRSSP, it will make students motivated and willing to learn. Watching the movie gives me an idea of how to make my students come to school every day and be willing to learn. If a teacher follows the CRSSP with the passion to make students succeed, then it will make learning fun and enjoyable   https://youtu.be/UCFg9bcW7Bk For this movie, it is almost the same as the first, but they have different ideas. This has to do with the 6 C's (Choice, Collaboration, Communication, Critical thinking, Creativity, and Caring). If you follow the 6 C's, it will make your classroom a wonderful and successful classroom, and students will be willing and motivated to learn. By watching this video, I think that I can apply some of his methods of teaching in my class. And his ideas are really great for a cla...

List your 3 biggest takeaways from the readings.        First , learning styles if we study the learning styles, it will make learning fun and engaging. I found out that different people learn differently according to the movie visual, Auditory, reading, and writing, and Kinesthetic (VARK) it can help people find out what type of learners they are, and then we can work from that. I also found out that students have a dominant modality, but some prefer other modalities when they learn. This is an important lesson for us teachers, so we can try to understand our students and try to meet their needs.      The second takeaway is using the three phases of the learning process, which are before training, where you activate prior knowledge, or something similar to the first phase. The first phase has to do with reminding the person of the skill they learned before. For example, if you are teaching them how to plant seeds, you will try to remind...
