  • Explain how teaching with digital technologies could change education. 

    For me, teaching with digital technology can change education because most students learn by seeing the actual thing with their eyes. This will be better because I know that most students learn things through observation, like my students, who learn by observing me doing the actual work, like fertilizing the plants. most of them did the work perfectly, but those who did not pay attention did not do well. Most students are really good with technology, and they enjoy looking at things people post when doing something. I know this because the way I know our culture is by observing what people can and cannot do, and also asking my uncles or aunts, but I learn most of it by watching them do the work.



  • How do you see it changing your classrooms for the better? I know that if I use digital technology in my classroom, it will make learning faster and more interesting. I know that students of today enjoy watching movies or video clips, so using digital technology will be better for the students. It will be better for them because they will be watching the actual things and how it is done, like slaughtering chicken, feeding chicken, etc.


  • What are some reasons why teachers don’t want to incorporate technology in the classroom? From my experience, those who don't want to incorporate technology in their classroom are those who do not know how to use it or don't have the means to do it. Those who do not have access are the ones who do not use technology in their classroom, but I believe that if they have access and know how to use technology, I believe that they will apply or use technology in their classroom.

   What are some things you can do in your classroom to foster creativity and innovation?      Some of the things that I can do in my classroom are doing Social Emotional Learning (SEL), integrating technology, and using technological tools like Google Forms. For the SEL, I know that it really helps my students to be creative in answering questions, and it makes them really focus on the lesson we are doing. For integrating technology, I can see that students are more into technology and love to use technology in doing their work. They become creative and innovative when a task is given to them to complete or find using technology. For Google Forms, I know if they learn to use it, they will create work that will be better than what I created.   What Facebook group OR YouTube channel did you join?      I haven't joined any Facebook or YouTube channels, but I love watching channels that have to do with teaching, so I can apply their method and...

  Discuss your ideas on how to Improve Learning in your community based on the readings.      I can improve learning in my community based on the reading by focusing on students' learning needs and wants. Learning in our community is learning about our culture and religious beliefs. This is what students are learning in our community based on cultural beliefs on what works and what is the right or correct thing to do, so students can learn their culture by observing or imitating the older people. I think that using technology can also improve learning in our community. According to the reading, what improves learning is the way the lesson is delivered and whether the learners understand the language. That is why learning in the community is easier because the language used is the main language of the people.
