Blog #1 What I want to learn from EDCS 640M?

How do you like to learn?

  • I like to learn by watching someone using technology and following them in what they are doing. I also learn by watching a video or observing someone actually doing something.

What do you hope to learn in this class?

  • I hope to learn all the technological tools that can help with my work or help me personally. The two tools that we look at which is Google Sheets and Google Forms I know that if I master them, I will be using them with my classes because we only have student textbooks and no teacher's guide or student workbook, so we make our own questions for tests, quizzes, and classwork's. Google Sheets will make calculating my students' grades faster and easier. I will no longer be trying to find a calculator for my grades when it comes to the Master Grade Sheet (MGS), which is used for making students' grades.

How might blogging help you? (Make sure to refer to the 4 Benefits of Making a Teacher blog article from today’s reading)

I know that blogging will really help me because if I post something, I can get help from teachers all over the world on how to improve myself in teaching or other work-related things. Reading the four important things for making teachers' blogs helps me get more interesting ideas for doing a blog. I know that I do not go online every day. The first benefit is that it can improve my school's online visibility. it has to do with showing that your institution is good or the best choice for people to attend. The second is about parental involvement or engagement, which will really help because this is one of the weakest things in my school: parental involvement. Some parents are so busy that sometimes, when they call the office, they are shocked about their children. some say that they always drop them off every day, but the students are not attending classes. Third, it could create opportunities for professional networking, which is about meeting other hardworking people and sharing ideas or resources to improve yourself or your school. The last is that it can boost your resume and showcase your teaching profession, which will make people want to hire or use your ideas.

Select and describe two of the collaboration tools presented in class: The two collaborative tools that I like are Google Forms and Google Sheets. Google Forms can help me create classwork, tests, and quizzes for my students because our textbooks do not include teacher guides or student workbooks. I can create a simple and easy-to-use tool for my class or students. For Google Sheets, I can create worksheets to use for my Master's Grade Sheet (MGS ) when it comes to grading at the end of the quarter, and I can also help my colleagues with the Google sheet for their grades. Share 2 benefits of using the tool in your current role or job: One benefit of using these two tools it will make my work easier and faster. This will also help people who will teach my subject to have a smooth teaching because all the resources will be provided and ready to use. Another benefit that I see is that it will make learning for the students easier and smoother, and will make creating lesson plans...

Blog #5 (current flowing close to land)

Here are the two videos https://youtu.be/MBYlRmUurJ8 I learned how to make students come to school by following the CRSSP (Choice, Relevance, Strength, Specific, and Passion). If you follow the CRSSP, it will make students motivated and willing to learn. Watching the movie gives me an idea of how to make my students come to school every day and be willing to learn. If a teacher follows the CRSSP with the passion to make students succeed, then it will make learning fun and enjoyable   https://youtu.be/UCFg9bcW7Bk For this movie, it is almost the same as the first, but they have different ideas. This has to do with the 6 C's (Choice, Collaboration, Communication, Critical thinking, Creativity, and Caring). If you follow the 6 C's, it will make your classroom a wonderful and successful classroom, and students will be willing and motivated to learn. By watching this video, I think that I can apply some of his methods of teaching in my class. And his ideas are really great for a cla...

Blog #7 (Smooth current)

List your 3 biggest takeaways from the readings.        First , learning styles if we study the learning styles, it will make learning fun and engaging. I found out that different people learn differently according to the movie visual, Auditory, reading, and writing, and Kinesthetic (VARK) it can help people find out what type of learners they are, and then we can work from that. I also found out that students have a dominant modality, but some prefer other modalities when they learn. This is an important lesson for us teachers, so we can try to understand our students and try to meet their needs.      The second takeaway is using the three phases of the learning process, which are before training, where you activate prior knowledge, or something similar to the first phase. The first phase has to do with reminding the person of the skill they learned before. For example, if you are teaching them how to plant seeds, you will try to remind...
